English for Business

The focus will be on the skills and language required for the business world that will enable the students to better understand and function within a professional environment. 

FCE – Cambridge First Exam

A modular course focussing on key skills tested in the Cambridge First Certificate Exam.  Students will be prepared for the exam through a combination of language skills training and exam practice. 

  General Language Activation

This module can be seen as an extension of the Basic English course with the focus on functions, communication and English in Action.  Practice will include as many real-life situations as possible, e.g. going to cafes as a class to order something to eat or drink; asking directions in the street; using the internet and local papers to find out information. 

English for Travel & Tourism

The focus will be on skills and language required for the travel and tourism industry that will enable the students to better understand and function within the highly competitive travel and tourism environment.  Included will be a focus within on vocabulary and functional language for hotels and hotel bookings, tour operations, travel agencies, special tours etc.

  IELTS Exam Preparation

To provide students with the necessary skills to take the IELTS examination. The course will cover a range of skills specific to IELTS preparation and have examination practice.

English for Hospitality & Cookery

The focus will be on skills and language required for the hospitality industry that will enable the students to better understand and function within the hospitality and cookery industries.  Included will be a focus within on vocabulary and functional language for commercial kitchens, hotels, recipe writing, and hotel bookings.
