  Eurocentres Brisbane - Accommodation

In Brisbane, students can choose to stay with private homestay families (where meals are included in the cost), in hotels or in private apartments.

Host Families / Homestays:

Living with a host family means you will experience Australian life and culture in a 'homestay' environment. It gives you an opportunity to practise your language skills with native English speakers every day. You become a member of your Australian host family for the duration of your stay.

There are many different types of homestay families - from families with children to single-person households. All homestay families are carefully selected and their homes are regularly inspected. Homestay families enjoy looking after guests and meeting people from all over the world.

Eurocentres Brisbane homestays provide “full-board” - an outstanding experience for students and unbeatable value for money. Full Board includes: breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner, electricity/gas, a private bedroom and use of most household facilities.

When placing students, special dietary, health and/or religious requirements are also taken into consideration. Travel times, to and from school, will vary depending on your homestay location .

Hotels:

The city of Brisbane offers many standards of hotel accommodation - from comfortable, but basic, two-star through to luxurious five-star hotels. Eurocentres Brisbane can assist you to book this type of accommodation.

Apartments:

If you will be staying for a longer period in Brisbane, you may decide to rent an apartment. Rents vary according to size, condition and location of the apartment. Eurocentres Brisbane can put you in contact with real estate agencies that will assist you to find a suitable apartment.

Generally a payment of four weeks rent, as a “bond”, plus two weeks rent is payable in advance. The 'bond' will be refunded, in full, at the end of the tenancy (as long as the property has not been damaged).

There may also be other fees involved in renting an apartment (eg. gas, electricity, telephone connection and rental, etc.).
